Platform Timesheets

Hours from the clock.
Recorded in the app.

Operators clock on and off in the app. Where attendance is switched on for an employee, breaks are recorded as well. The office sees each operator’s clock-on, clock-off, worked time and break time for the day, in a read-only view. The office timesheet view is part of the Operations plan.

  1. Hours by day. The office picks a day and sees each operator’s hours.
  2. Worked and break time. Clock-on, clock-off, worked time, break time and status for each operator.
  3. Read-only. The view is read-only. The office timesheet view is part of the Operations plan.

How it works

The shift,
as it was clocked.

  1. The operator starts their shift in the app

The buttons on the home screen read Clock in and Clock out.

  2. Breaks are recorded

Start break and End break are available where attendance is switched on for the employee, unless the organisation uses the automatic lunch break.

  3. The shift ends, or is capped

With attendance on, a shift nobody ends stops at the cap time until the real finish time is confirmed.

  4. The office reads the day

Timesheets lists each operator’s clock-on, clock-off, worked time, break time and status for the day chosen. It is a read-only view.

Your questions

What you need to know.

Is this included in every plan?

No. The office timesheet view is part of the Operations plan. Clocking on and off in the app is not limited to that plan.

What if someone forgets to clock out?

Where attendance is switched on, the shift is capped at your organisation’s cap time, 5 pm by default. The operator is asked for the real finish time. An owner, an admin or the manager assigned as that employee’s supervisor can confirm it or clock them out.

Can operators check their own hours?

Yes. Where attendance is switched on, operators see this week and last week in the app and confirm each week’s hours.

Does it pay staff?

No. Verdue records hours. It does not calculate or make payments.

Can the office correct a shift?

Where attendance is switched on, an owner, an admin or the manager assigned as the employee’s supervisor can clock out an operator who forgot, confirm or set the real finish time, and approve or reject a correction the operator has asked for. This is done in Operations. The Timesheets screen is read-only.

What does attendance being switched on mean?

An owner or admin switches attendance on for each enrolled employee. Breaks, the clock-out cap and the weekly hours confirmation apply to those employees.
